Help for Garry & Shirley Gardner & their family ❤️

Hey, my name is Amanda Brinkman. I am a good friend of Mrs. Shirley and her family. I am setting this go fund me up to help this family that we all love so dearly.

As most people know Mrs. Shirley has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (grade IV) which means there is a main lesion on the left side of her brain that's pretty big, but she also has a few other spots on the right side. This is typically a very fast growing cancer. The doctor said with no treatment she would have an estimated 3 months and with surgery up to 17 months. We know this is just what Drs are saying and we are obviously believing for a miracle. We also know that God uses people in the medical field to heal as well.

After lots of talking and praying Mrs. Shirley and her family have decided that they will be going to MD Anderson in Houston to seek treatment from the best. Mrs. Shirley is a fighter and wants to fight this to the full extent. She is so blessed to have her family alongside her to fight this battle with her.

With that being said there are many expenses that come with having to travel, especially not knowing how long it will be. I am hoping we as her family and friends can help soften any financial burden on them with traveling back and forth, missing work, and with food and any other expenses while in Texas and returning home.

We all love Mrs. Shirley so much and she has prayed all of us through some hard times in our own lives and has been there to celebrate with us during the good times. It’s our turn to help her first and foremost by praying for her, all the family, and the Medical staff that will be in charge of her care, but also financially so they don’t have to worry about anything.
