Help for Sizzle the ELI dog

Donation protected
Sizzle was found on a National road in Romania. It was July, 43 degrees celsius outside, he was skinny, with a lot of hair loss, scared and it was clear he had a problem with his eyes. How to leave a dog in such a way?
So of course my kind friend and colleague Claudia took him to the ELI for Animals sanctuary near Bucharest, Romania.

Weeks on with vet treatment, love and good food he began to improve and so much happier playing with the other dogs at the sanctuary too.

Mr Sizzle went to the ophthalmological vet in August, he doesn't have glaucoma, but the left eye was totally useless and he had surgery to remove it. The right eye is still partially functional, he suffers from endothelial dystrophy of the cornea. He will need eye gel for the rest of his life to prevent corneal ulcers.
With the help from some friends we managed to mostly cover that bill.

Things were looking good for Sizzle, he was due to leave for the U.K. to a foster home and was waiting for his trip on the happy bus. Now that has come to a halt (for now hopefully) as Claudia had to rush to a non stop vet hospital with poor Sizzle who couldn't breathe properly in the middle of the night....
At first she thought it was a foreign object in his nose and needed urgent medical help.
The first 2 days he had all kind of tests and x rays. Nothing showed on x rays, but still hard to breathe. Then, he was booked for CT scans, it looks like he has a severe inflammation on the side where he had the eye removal, pharynx area, also a polyp or tumour is shown too, on the same side, blocking the air.

He stayed 8 days in hospital, he is still on antibiotics after the bacteorogical exam results.

Much more, we need a surgery to remove the lump, then send it to the lab to see if its cancer or a simple polyp.

We need to cover his astronomical vet bills.
2200 lei CT scan
7000 lei hospitalisation, lab tests, blood tests, x rays etc
2000 euros in total!!
Plus we will also have the costs of the surgery.

We struggle so much to raise funds, we do what we can always for these dogs but always feel up against it. Please help if you can and give Sizzle hope for a happy life.
