Help for Skylar Farmer
Donation protected
As many of you already know, Skylar Farmer was involved in a very serious head-on collision this past Wednesday evening , November 24th, near Athens Georgia. Her husband Tyler, was following immediately behind and was also involved in the accident.
The following update has been directly copied from Skylar's mom, and their Facebook account dedicated to keeping everyone up-to-date with Skylars condition:
"We wanted to let everyone know that our daughter, Skylar, was in a terrible car accident last night on Highway 78. She was hit head on. Skylar has sustained serious injuries to her left arm and hip. She has a small brain bleed. She is in stable condition and in good spirits. Her recovery will be long, require multiple surgeries and she will be in the hospital for several weeks. Our son-in-law, Tyler, was driving behind Skylar when the accident happened, and the car he was driving was also hit. Tyler is sore, but so far seems to be ok. Thank you to all the friends, First Responders, EMT's, the Oglethorpe Sheriff's Department, Fire Fighters and citizens that came to help. Thank you to the strangers who stopped and prayed. Oglethorpe County, we can not thank you enough! God put all the right people , in all the right places, from the first person to get to Skylar, to the best doctors at the hospital. We praise God that he placed His protection over Skylar and Tyler last night. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. We will try to keep you all updated on her condition. Please be patient with us as we may be slow to respond to calls, texts and messages. We have so so so very much to be thankful for today".
We are asking for your support to help Skylar and Tyler as they will be facing enormous uncovered costs associated with enormous medical bills, the total loss of both of their vehicles, challenges related to their jobs, and longterm rehab and care for Skylar's very serious and debilitating injuries.
