Help for Stan & Donna Fowler
Donation protected
This summer Dr. Stan Fowler, beloved pastor, and professor emeritus at Heritage Seminary, suffered a major stroke while on vacation in Virginia. After a few weeks in a US hospital, he was airlifted back to Canada where he has been slowly recovering in hospital in Kitchener. Thankfully, the medical costs while in the USA and in Canada were covered by Medicare, OHIP and out of country insurance.
Stan and his wife Donna have sold their home in Kitchener and have purchased a new home in Cambridge that will be suitable for Stan’s mobility needs and further rehabilitation. The closing date on their new home is December 7th.
Their new home requires renovations and some specialized equipment. The renovations need to be completed and the equipment must be in place before Stan can be discharged from hospital. Renovations will begin on December 8th. Their current home is sold, and the move is planned for December 16th.
We are asking those who know and love Stan and Donna to consider donating to this “Go Fund Me” appeal. Based on estimates for renovations and equipment, our goal is $35,000. This amount includes money for some equipment costs that are not yet known.
All funds donated will be forwarded to Stan and Donna and will go towards offsetting the cost of the renovations and equipment. (Please note that donations cannot be receipted for income tax purposes).
Please continue to pray for Stan’s recovery and for the transition to their new home. May God bless you as you give.
