Help Steve & His Family Fight Against Covid

Our neighbors and dear friends, Steve and Jackie, could benefit from some extra support.  Steve, who is a husband, father, and new grandfather,  recently contracted Covid19.    He was hospitalized at Lutheran Medical Center on April 20th.   The severity of his condition progressed quickly and he was placed on a ventilator two days later.  He has remained on the ventilator since.  Yesterday (April 28) he was transferred to St. Joseph Hospital and placed on an ECMO machine which oxygenates the blood without the use of his lungs, thus allowing the lungs and heart time to rest and heal.  

The new treatment  is a step in the positive direction and allows for more hope  for his family and friends.  However, the recovery process will require months of intensive care.  Making things more challenging, Steve is the primary provider for his family and the many expenses are starting to overwhelm his family.  These are two truly wonderful people who are always positive and always offering to help others.  This is the time we can help them in their time of need.  Please, with an open heart, consider donating to this cause.  Any amount is greatly appreciated!
