Help for Stuart Sharp (Tui)

Hi, my name is Caroline Guerra-Baker and I'm raising money to help an old RISD friend and soulmate, Stuart Sharp (Tui) recover from the fires in Maui.

Looking at the news and videos of his town, Lahaina - his neighborhood for the past 45 years - reminds me of those horrific depictions of hell during the Middle Ages and Dante's Inferno.

I hope and pray his mental health has remained intact.

Fortunately, the Red Cross has put him up in a hotel for a month, but he will still need, not only his own permanent place, but furniture, clothes, food, art supplies and much more.

Look around you right now at all your belongings, your photographs, your projects, art supplies, pets (fortunately Stu didn't have one), plants, irreplaceable memorabilia... Then imagine it all being engulfed in flames taller and more powerful than anything you can imagine... And all you are left with is the clothes you are wearing and a haunting, disturbing image of the incident in your head.
