Jackie and I have put this fundraiser together to help Susan. Below you can read her story of what has happened to her. We are asking that you will find it in your hearts to help us raise some much needed funds so Susan does not have to worry about her financial obligations but can focus on her healing so she can get back to work.

What happened to Susan...
As some of you are aware, on November 18, 2020 Susan had a mild stroke and was hospitalized for 3 days due to a medication she was given to dissolve the blood clot in the left side of her brain and because she lost the mobility of her right arm and wrist. Praise the Lord, the clot dissolved, and she was discharged on November 21st, but she still is unable to use her right arm and hand, which is her dominant hand.
Susan is a hair stylist and is unable to work on her clients currently which means she has no income. She is doing everything her doctors tell her to do so she can get back into the salon to work. Asking for help is very difficult especially asking for monetary donations, but this is what she needs right now to survive for the next few months.
Susan has multiple doctor appointments weekly from seeing her Occupational Hand Therapist, her Neurologist and Primary Health doctor. We have waited to set up this account, but she was told by her hand specialist; the healing process is going to be very slow and that she is to concentrate on being patient and let her body heal and for the nerves in her arm/hand to wake up (the nerve typically heals 1mm a month).
Along with this her medical condition, she has also filed for a divorce and getting no financial help from him. She is no longer smoking nor does she drink. So, all the money collected will be going to help Susan live and pay for medical needs.
