Help for the Barker & Henry Family

Hi, my name is Dawn Marie Geiger, long time friend of the Barker/Henry Family. At the request of Micheal Henry, he asked for assistance to start this fundraiser to assist his mother, Debbie Barker, while she is out of work, waiting for her husband to come home, and any medical expenses that may accrue.

On February 7, 2022, Michael Barker, husband of Debbie Barker, father to Meghan, Michael, and John, and grandfather of 9, was flown to Jefferson Hospital, after being found having suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm at their home. At this time, Michael(father) was in a medically induced coma and had pneumonia.  The pneumonia has thankfully cleared up, but he is still not responding to commands, other than opening his eyes during Neuro exams. On the 17th, a feeding tube was placed, and a tracheotomy was performed to assist his recovery and nourishment after day 14.

Debbie and the family have remained by his side each day, praying and hoping for him to begin responding. During this time, they are unsure how long Debbie will remain out of work or how much assistance she will need, as her main focus is being with her husband until he can come back to us. We would like to take the financial burden off of her shoulders during this difficult time. Thank you in advance for any bit you can help with.
