Help for The Bledsoe Family

Hey y’all! My name is Heather. 2 people very close to my heart had a beautiful little girl, Mabel, April 25, 2023. Mom, Megan, Dad, Ashlee, and big brother, Wyatt, adore Mabel so so much and miss her being home. Since being born, she has had a very difficult time.

Mabel Annaleigh was admitted to the children's hospital where she continues to stay for several tests being ran and pending at this time along with close monitoring. She has been diagnosed with diabetes insipidus and having a difficult time getting her medication dosage right and tolerating it. She continues to have neuro symptoms of unknown cause and is pointing to a type of genetic disorder that several tests have been sent off for and pending for results to help treat Mabel and figure out the best management to help her. She continues to have ups and downs with some set backs but seems to be making some improvements. Her father will have to go back to work next week and her mother will continue to stay with Mabel at the children's hospital. The medical, financial, and household bills/cost are beginning to add up and they have exhausted their savings and one income will not be able to cover the costs. She is on a specialized renal formula that she will have to continue to take and is very expensive vs others. She will be eligible to a type of Medicaid to add to her primary insurance but will have to wait until she has an official diagnosis and will take several months to be approved.

This is something no parent wants to encounter. Not only is it difficult watching your child suffer and not be able to soothe them is the worse feeling in the world but when you add on financial burdens, it makes it so much harder. The funds will be used for medical bills, helping with everyday needs, expensive formula sweet Mabel has to have, etc., due to mom not being able to work and just depending on dads income
