Help for the Connors Family

My name is Bob Cronk and I’m here to ask for support for my dear friend and co-worker of 21 years, Chad Connors, and his family.

In December, 2021, after experiencing some health issues, Chad was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. He quickly had surgery to have the cancer removed and then started on chemotherapy treatment. Chad was determined to beat this thing. He continued to work throughout his chemotherapy to support his family. He was a trooper through the whole ordeal although I could see that he was wiped out at times. After 8 months of chemotherapy, we all thought he was nearing the end of this terrible illness. After a checkup, they discovered that while progress had been made, they still detected cancer in his system. We were all devastated but hopeful. Plans were made for more surgical procedures and a second round of chemotherapy. However, after multiple failed procedures they discovered that the cancer had spread into his liver and other organs and had become more aggressive. Unfortunately, Chad is losing his battle and it is just a matter of time before we have to say goodbye. As you can imagine, Chad’s family is absolutely distraught by the thought of losing their loving husband and amazing father.

Chad is the kind of person who is always putting others needs before his. He has a generous and kind nature about him, and is always willing to help those in need. If you are lucky enough to know Chad, you also know he has a great sense of humor. One thing that people repeatedly say about this situation is “it isn’t fair”. This wasn’t supposed to happen. Chad is one of the good ones.

Chad’s wife, Anna, and their sons, Riley (18) and Liam (16), will need financial support for upcoming cremation services and living expenses. Please help by donating anything you can afford, no donation is too small and all will go towards helping the Connors family through this awful tragedy. I will post updates here as they occur.
