Help for the cremation of my Uncle
Donation protected
On July 9, 2020 someone randomly attracted my Uncle while he slept in grant park. Stabbing him multiple times in the neck abdomen back and shoulder. He laid there in the heat for two days until the women that noticed after two days he hadn’t moved something was wrong and she called the police. The first thing I said is Uncle Red don’t bother anybody he has a routine and why would he be in grant park he’s always over by lower wackier drive. We know where to find him if we needed to. Although he choose to live on the streets he didn’t have too. His name is Aaron Curry and he was born right here in Chicago spent most of his life in the city streets. Uncle Red has just his 3 sisters, 1 older brother and us his nieces and nephews. Arron was a member of the community and there’s nothing he would have not done to put a smile on your face. My uncle has no insurance and this has left my mother and myself to bury him. Unfortunately he will not receive a burial because it is very expensive but we will cremate him. Everyone that knew my uncle knows that he was such an amazing person and when he got on my nerves my attitude didn’t last long because you couldn’t be mad at Uncle Red for a long time. This really broke my heart and all though you see me smiling I’m still struggling with it. After speaking with detectives they had determined that he must have been sleeping when it happened and he most defiantly was caught off guard and Homeless people had been targeted and their things were being taken from them like link cards money card phones and bus cards It's been happening the last few weeks. No one deserves to have their life taken this way or any other violent way. uncle Red was a healthy 58 year old man beside a tooth ache every now and again he was good. What ever donation we receive will go towards Uncle Reds cremation. Thank you for taking the time to read this I really appreciate it.
