Help for the funeral of our beloved Tomas Girmay

With a heavy heart, we are deeply saddened to inform you of the sudden tragic death of our beloved brother Tomas Girmay. On April 16, 2021, our world was shattered and lives forever changed, as we learned that our brother was taken from us unexpectedly at the tender age of 30. With the cause of death unknown, we are grief-stricken and our hearts are forever broken to have lost such a prolific and amazing soul. Tomas was a proud father to his two-year-old son Xaiden , a loving son to Afwerki & Freweini, a caring brother to Rahwa, Solomon, and Kristy, and a loyal friend to all who had the privilege to meet him. Tomas walked this Earth with a joyful spirit & radiated light wherever he went. With his infectious laugh and vibrant personality, he could brighten anyone’s day.

Tomas was a proud Eritrean American born and raised in Visalia, California. He loved spending time with family & friends, playing basketball, and working out. Tomas was highly motivated and worked extremely hard in all that he put his time and energy into. He was incredibly kind with a loving spirit and he will be deeply missed by all that know him.

All funds and proceeds donated will go directly to the family to aid in funeral expenses and to alleviate any financial burdens. Though this loss is difficult to comprehend, we must rally together in support of the family who is attempting to cope with this tremendous loss.
