Help for the Holden’s

Charmaine Holden recently underwent surgery for a tumor on her ovary. 3 weeks after surgery after no relief from the excruciating pain, she went back to the Hospital and was told she has small cell neuroendocrine ovarian cancer (oarcinomatosis) that has spread from the tumor on her ovary. It is a rare female cancer that usually starts in the lungs or the intestines. It is a aggressive cancer that can be best treated at MD Anderson. Unfortunately, increasing the pain medication has caused Charmaine’s blood pressure to drop and she is now in renal failure and having to undergo dialysis. Therefore she’s not stable at this time to travel to Houston. She has started chemo and will continue both chemo and dialysis. 

Both the Holden/Wymer families are well known in the Lee Road area. They are long standing members of the community and have always reached out to help others in need. Charmaine’s Mom Pat Holden is retired from the St Tammany Parish School Board and has not left Charmaine’s side since this journey has started.  We’ve started this account because a lot of friends neighbors and family have asked “what can I do?” This account will help with any expenses that may occur whether it’s food, gas, lodging, medication, or even to help maintain their monthly bills.  Please pray for Charmaine and her family as they travel this road and if you cannot donate at this time please share this go fund me on your personal page.
