Help for Nora Rose
Donation protected
From Nora's parents, Miles and Dawn:
"As many of you don’t know, our Nora Rose (12 years old) was admitted to Wolfson’s Childrens Hospital on Wednesday (3/18/20) for medical treatment for her struggle with an eating disorder, which is compounded by her anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. She has lost over 50 Ibs since September.
As of Thursday, Nora is receiving care in the Behavioral Health Unit at Wolfson’s. This temporary treatment generally lasts 5-7 days for her specific condition. Following this care, Nora will continue treatment in a residential/ inpatient facility specific to eating disorders, which will be in Atlanta, GA most likely, but hoping for the closer facility in Orlando. Nora will need outpatient services following the inpatient/ residential treatment.
During this time we ask for prayers and thoughts. If you are able to contribute financially towards Nora’s medical expenses and costs surrounding her care; any amount towards expenses will be helpful and greatly appreciated. It’s humbling and difficult to ask for help, especially during this time, especially financially. Your words of support and prayers are most appreciated."
From Annalisa:
I set up this account because Dawn has been a friend and colleague of mine for many years now. She is a warm and caring mom, massage therapist, and nurse. Her family is very sweet, and I hate to see them under such stress.
**NOTE: If you know Miles and/or Dawn personally, and you'd prefer to donate to them directly (rather than through online means), please reach out to them, and they will give you their info.
