Help for the Jarman Family
Donation protected
It is with sorrow that we are here asking for help for Ginny. 3 weeks ago they discovered that her son Chris went missing. Looking back on it we now have come to terms that Chris has become paranoid schizophrenic. He believes the government and others are out to kill him, and that his family is no longer safe with him around.
His car was found in the Skagit Valley forest about one mile outside of Newhalem. When he disappeared he had taken his dog with him. Fourteen days later she was found just after midnight wandering down the road a half mile from his car. Bella was skin and bones and had an injured leg, and had clearly been alone for some time and was quite traumatized. She required a vet visit the following day to assess her condition.
On January 30th four search dog teams were sent out to look for him, but sadly Chris was nowhere to be found. They will look several more times but at this time his family still waits and prays. We had to hire a locksmith to drive an hour and a half to the location to make a key so that we could take his abandoned car home, per the ranger’s request.
Ginny’s brother is also in the hospital with COVID-19, and has been in critical condition this whole time and has now slipped into a coma and will be released from life support on 2/3/2021. He is survived by his wife Susan who was financially dependent on him, with no life insurance. The hospital bills and cremation costs are one thing that we are seeking help for in the goal amount, as this cost will fall on Ginny as well.
Shortly before Chris went missing and her brother was taken to the hospital, Ginny suffered a knee injury and will be unable to return to work until March. FMLA only covers 60% of her wages. We would love to take some of the burden off of her, so we are humbly requesting prayers and any possible help with her financial burdens as well.
Any donations will help cover the costs of:
Hospital bills
Cremation costs
Mortgage payment
Locksmith costs
Vet bills
Utilities
A new power block for Ginny’s heater that went out recently
A washing machine that also just went out (when it rains it pours, doesn’t it?)
It’s been a very long month with a long story, and we thank you for sticking with it if you made it this far! We would really appreciate any shares of the link as well, to help spread the word of this family’s situation. Again, thank you for your support!
Most sincerely,
The Jarmans & Friends
