Help for the Jarra Family

As many of you know, Danny Jarra was diagnosed with ALS in the fall of 2018. The news of this diagnosis was devastating, but it did not destroy the Jarra family. Quite the opposite. Danny, Teyah, and their two children have fought against this terrible disease for the last five years. They have traveled across the country more times than we can count to participate in experimental treatment studies; they have reconstructed their home to meet Danny's changing needs and to ensure that he has been able to stay where he belongs; they have participated in and raised money for countless ALS research fundraisers. These are just a few of the things the Jarra family has spent the last five years doing - and through every exhausting trip or renovation and every devastating change in Danny's diagnosis - this family has maintained hope and positivity and strength. But despite every one of these efforts, Danny has recently decided to enter hospice. The Jarra's have not given up. They will continue to fight in whatever way they can. But they do not want Danny to suffer any more than he already has. However, with this decision comes so many more unknowns - a lot of them being financial. So friends of the family have decided to start this fund - to alleviate some of that financial burden, to squash unnecessary "but what about...s," and to provide Teyah, Danny, and their children with just a tiny bit of comfort through this unimaginable time.
