Help for the Lindner Family❤️

Hello. This is Michelle Shamash and Wendi Sears. We have known and loved the Lindner family for over 20 years. John and Monica have always had the most special loving relationship and have always opened their arms, hearts, and wallets to anybody in need.

 

Five years ago, John was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and has attempted to work through the entire ordeal. He is unable to work to install security systems any longer, so he has been helping to support the family by inspecting fire extinguishers. John has continued to laugh and smile despite his diminishing physical abilities. Monica works as a second grade teacher at the Waukegan public schools.  She previously worked for many years as a paraprofessional at Avon school in Grayslake.  Both of their children graduated from Grayslake North High School.   Their son, Matthew, lives at home and is unable to work at this time .

 

Two weeks ago, John was diagnosed with COVID-19 despite his full vaccination status and booster shot. The doctors at the hospital told the family that if he had not been vaccinated and boosted, he would not have survived. His immune system is compromised by his multiple sclerosis.

 

During the past two weeks, John has been hospitalized twice in two different hospitals and has required two separate ambulance rides. He is currently at Condell Hospital in Libertyville on oxygen.

 

This beautiful family, who has given so much to their friends and neighbors over the years, is now in need of help themselves. They would never ask for help, so we are going to ask for them. ❤️❤️

 

The medical bills have already mounted from the multiple sclerosis. Now the bills are growing because of the Covid hospitalizations and ambulance rides. It is unclear when John will be able to work again and Monica is missing work as well..

 

The Lindner’s are a loving and wonderful family that need our help. Thank you to anybody who can chip in. ❤️❤️
