Help for the McCaslins
Donation protected
As you know, our dear friend Mark McCaslin was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma in February. Many of us have asked how we can help; quite simply, we can donate money. Please give what you can to the McCaslin family. They are dealing with the overwhelming expenses that come with this diagnosis and health insurance that does not cover everything. They need our help.
We all know that the McCaslin village is a strong and supportive one. I know Mark and Alicia greatly appreciated all your meals, visits, and support over the past few months. As they have told me many times, they "feel the love" and it is uplifting for them.
Our donations will help with the increasingly mounting medical bills and their loss of income. Donations will also give the family time with Mark and each other right now. Our short-term goal was to raise $150,000, and we were thrilled to do that! But the bills keep coming, and so we have changed the goal to $300,000. In addition to donations, please continue to send prayers, happy thoughts, and “good vibes” (as Alicia always says) their way.
And if you know of anyone else who wants to help the McCaslins, please forward this Go Fund Me link. Let’s come together as their community and give them the help they need in this most difficult time.
Thank you for any donation you can make!
