Help for the Nardo Family

Hello everyone,

It's with a heavy heart to announce that my uncle Ronnie has passed away today. He leaves behind his two sons, Jake and Jade. They've been through so much with this recent loss, their mother dying to cancer a few years ago, and their older sister dying from battling depression. Right now, they are being taken care of by close relatives.

 

I've never met him since he lived in the Philippines and I've never been, but my mother hasn't seen him for almost two decades. The last time she has been home was when her mother died. It saddens me that she would be going back for another funeral, but I think it's necessary for her to heal and so that the whole family can at least grieve together. We had planned to visit the Philippines at the beginning of 2020, but unfortunately with the pandemic it never happened. She has always been hopeful that this pandemic would end so she could see her family again and it pains me to know she would be going back for something so tragic.

 

My mother has been raising me all by herself and I would love to send her to the Philippines so that she can at least say goodbye to her brother and have some sort of closure. I know she really wants to check up on my cousins as well now that they've lost both their parents.

 

Unfortunately, we aren't financially stable to afford the plane ticket to send her over there, the hospital fees, the funeral fees, etc. The money would go directly towards all of those fees. I would appreciate and I know my mother would also deeply appreciate any sort of donation. Thank you so much.
