Help for The Ries Family
Donation protected
As many of you may have heard or seen on facebook or the news by now, my son in law Joey Ries was hospitalized Thursday morning after he passed out at home and stopped breathing. Fortunately their daughter called Heather in time to get home right as the bus driver was arriving to get the kids. Luckily, the driver was a nursing student and was able to assist with life saving techniques until the first responders arrived.
We are still waiting for a diagnosis. They have tested him for everything from heart failure to seizures. We still have no answers as to why this happened. It looks now like he will be in the hospital until at least Monday while they continue to run tests.
Joey and Heather are both self employed and do not have insurance for themselves, only for their 8 year old triplets.
After a 5 day hospital stay with multiple expensive tests they will be left with a pretty hefty bill. Not to mention all of the doctors visits they are suggesting for follow ups and further testing.
Any amount you can donate, big or small will help their family tremendously. Thank you in advance.
