Help for the Seifert Family

As you have heard, Carrie and Keegan tragically lost Seif (John) on June 19th. Many of you have expressed concern for Carrie and Keegan, and have asked how you can help.

Carrie's words below best display the kind of people they are:

Words cannot convey the sadness that we are experiencing at the loss of such a magnanimous, amazing individual. To some, he was John, the hardworking diesel mechanic who could fix any engine or motor, not matter fuel or gas. To others, he was Chip or Chipper, which meant that you were family or the closest thing to it, and were lucky enough to get to know the truest and kindest parts of him. And for me and all of his friends, he was Seif - the most loyal companion, friend till the end, have your back no matter what the cost, so amazing that I married him twice - kind of guy. I wouldn't have traded a single second for the pain of losing him today.

For those of you who knew him as any of the above, I ask that you take the light that shined bright from him and reflect it for the rest of the world to see in an amplitude of 100%. Please treat every human you come into contact with as a brother, a sister, a friend, and someone who deserves respect first, and judgment never.

I will forever miss his smile in this picture (just as he looked at me with intense love). I know he had nothing but love for each and every person that he met. Please remember him and continue to shine his light into the world with nothing but civility, open heartedness, and most of all, with love.

Please help me turn this tragedy into an opportunity to break down barriers of any type, whether it be from race, gender, sexual preference, or opposite sides of the political spectrum. Love your neighbors; treat them as you would your friends and family so that they, in turn, will do the same to you.

That is my wish for his memory...

And my wish for you is to spread love and happiness through each day of your life and cherish the ones you love with an intense fire that only gets stronger with time.
