Help for the Shope Family

Cindy (Cynthia) Worstein Shope passed away March 14th, 2022, from metastatic melanoma, leaving behind her husband and two extraordinary children. The goal of this GoFundMe is to help pay for funeral and medical expenses that have accrued.

If Cindy were still with us, she would laugh about the fuss and her husband would tell us not to worry about finances; he would figure it out. Regardless, there will be medical bills and funeral expenses that will need to be paid, and their family should be allowed to grieve in peace without worrying about expenses.

Cindy, age 45, never complained about her health, her aches, or her pains. Her family always came first. Their activities came first. She went to her children’s soccer games, basketball games, dance recitals and looked forward to attending more. She, even when her health was quickly declining, asked me if the auditorium where her niece's show-choir competition was to be held was wheelchair accessible. She has no need for accessible venues now; she will be watching her children, nieces and nephews from heaven.
