On July 22, 2016, Lynna (Rawls) Sloan was diagnosed with a desmoid tumor in her right arm -- a very rare abnormal growth that arises from connective tissue. Desmoid tumors are incurable and extremely painful.
     In the almost three years since her diagnosis, Lynna has undergone several different treatments, mostly trial and error, since her condition is so rare.
     While the most recent treatment killed the cancer cells, the tumor is still there and is virtually impossible to remove. Lynna has been living with constant pain, and as in any family, her husband Steve and their 11 beautiful children have suffered along with her.
     Maybe you know Lynna from church. Maybe from high school. Maybe you know her from her tireless work for her family and community. No matter how you know her, you probably love her. Her sweet spirit and beautiful smile are a blessing to all who meet her.
     Would you consider donating to bless her in return? 
     As you might imagine, her medical bills are overwhelming. Steve has taken time away from his business to care for Lynna. 
     Some friends of the Sloans have agreed to match any donations up to $10,000. So that's the amount we're asking for, in faith. Some of you can give a lot. Maybe you can only give $10. Any amount would help. And any amount will automatically be doubled because of this generous matching offer.

     But God has promised me that my strength will be renewed. That He will use all of this for good. That I can still bring glory to Him even if I feel like a fraction of myself. Please pray for my family because these days are hard right now."
