Help for the Turcotte family
Donation protected
On behalf of the Woodland Family we are asking for everyone’s help. On Saturday the 20th of January, our nieces husband, Joshua Turcotte, was involved in a tragic accident. His left arm and wrist suffered life altering injuries when his arteries, muscle, tendon, and nerves were severed. Fortunately with previous paramedic experience and the help of his father in law they were able to put immense pressure on the wound which saved his life. EMT’s arrived and took him to the local hospital where he was then airlifted to Sunnybrook Trauma Centre. Fortunately, the reconstruction surgery of his arteries was a success and they were able to avoid amputation!
The next 18-24 months will be very hard on Joshua as he will require other surgeries and major physiotherapy to POSSIBLY regain feeling in his left hand. Joshua is self employed and the breadwinner for his two young children Saylor and Asher and his wife Mikayla .
We are reaching out to friends and family and asking for anyone and everyone’s help to ease this burden for the Turcotte family. Any donation being made will help him and his family on the road to recovery immensely. Not only for Josh’s physio and healthcare but also their basic needs. Josh is not only a great husband but an exceptional father. The most hands on father I’ve ever met. From playing blocks on the floor with his kids, reading before bedtime to taking them skating in the winter to living outside in the summer swimming.
We appreciate these are hard times we are living in and not everyone will be able to participate in this event, please drop the family a card to let them know you are thinking about them! 24 Reilly’s Run, Minesing ON L9X 0H7
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you in advance for your generosity and prayers.
