Help for the Unverrich Family

In March of 2020, my brother-in-law, Chad Unverrich, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, which is the most aggressive form of terminal brain cancer. He underwent a craniotomy, surgery to remove the tumor, on March 19th, and on April 1st, was given a prognosis of 2 to 4 years with treatment.
For the past three years, Chad and his family - my sister and their three young daughters - have dealt with the anxiety and uncertainty surrounding his diagnosis. He has gone through three different types of chemotherapy and over 50 radiation treatments, as well as a clinical trial medication. Each kind of chemotherapy worked for awhile until the tumor became too much for it. He is unable to have additional radiation treatments because he has had too many rounds of it; the clinical trial medication proved incompatible with his body; and surgery is not an option due to the location of the most recent tumor growth, which is in his brainstem. At this point, his family and doctors' primary focus is on his quality of life.
Chad has had around ten seizures since his diagnosis, and was left unable to drive for 3 to 6 months after each one. Due to this, he could no longer continue his work as a diesel mechanic. After a week-long hospital stay this past March, we found out that he had severe swelling in his brain, which has impacted his physical and cognitive abilities. He now requires around-the-clock care, so my sister is also unable to work at this time.
Luckily, the Unverrich family has a lot of people who care about them and have been able to help as needed, but there are so many expenses involved with a cancer diagnosis, and we are trying to do all that we can. Along with medical bills, they have other monthly bills, and daughters, as well as themselves, to support.
Chad's diagnosis has been traumatic for his entire family, but especially for his wife and daughters, who are 14, 13, and 7 years old. My goal in creating this GoFundMe is to help provide financial relief for them, so that they can focus on spending time together as a family during this difficult time.
