Help for The Vincent Family - Sebastian Xavier

­Anthony and LeeAnn Vincent’s youngest son, Sebastian Xavier, 3 years old has been recently diagnosed with a very aggressive and potentially lethal form of brain cancer, anaplastic medulloblastoma.  After a few weeks of testing due to an unknown persistent fever and early morning sickness, an MRI showed a large mass growing in his brain. Sebastian underwent very intense and complicated brain surgery on 3-14-20 to remove the tumor. The next step for the family will be extremely hard as they will have to decide the best treatment plan for Sebastian. Due to the nature of this form of cancer and the current treatment options, the family’s next decision will not be an easy one. They are potentially faced with choosing long life, more delayed and disabled or shorter life, with more function and ability.  The hospital with most optimistic treatment plan is St. Jude’s in Tennessee.  Mom (LeeAnn) will need to leave out-of-state to be with Sebastian for treatment alone, since hospitals will only allow one parent in.  Dad (Anthony) will be tasked with raising his two other boys home alone while trying to work from home in these uncertain times. Medical bills, travel needs, common financial necessities, will all be piling up. They have a very long road ahead of them. Especially in these recent VERY uncertain and scary times I hope we can all pull together to do what we can to alleviate some of the stress this family is and will have to endure. Anything helps!
