Help for the Wren Family

Hello,

On behalf of all the RivCoParks Family we are opening this fund to help support the family of one of our own Parks employee.

Kristopher (Kris) Wren, park maintenance worker at Lake Cahuilla Park, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 8, 2021. Kris worked for the District at Lake Cahuilla for 7 years.

In his time working with us, Kris demonstrated a strong work ethic and passion for keeping Lake Cahuilla Park safe, clean, and welcoming. He gave his best every day and cared tremendously about making the park the best it could be. Whether he needed to fill in at the front gate collecting fees and doing quagga inspections, clean bathrooms, trim trees, or do just about anything in the park, Kris gave it his all. There was no task beneath him and no problem he couldn’t solve. He will be greatly missed.

Kris was the sole financial provider for his family, with this unfortunate loss, his family needs assistance more now then ever. Kris leaves behind his loving wife Maria of 26 years; daughter Kristina, who is a teacher; son Diego whom will be graduating from Chico State University; and their 9 year old son Mateo. We hope to be able to raise enough money to help Maria with daily living expenses as well as any future educational costs for young Mateo. Any and all support, as well as forwarding of this fund is so greatly appreciated.
