Help for Toby Kessler and Tribe

Donation protected
My name is Andreana Burbank, and Toby is one of my my husband’s (Cody Burbank) dearest friends, whom he often calls his brother.

If you know Toby, you love him. He may not agree because he is such a humble man, but it’s true.

He’s a bright light in this world. More that you can imagine. He smiles through his trials. He laughs at whatever the devil might send his way to destroy him because he KNOWS God’s way is the only way and whatever God’s plan is, is the plan that he will follow.

He lifts up others. If you meet him or have met him, you feel and see the love of Jesus.

He is the incredible father of two wonderful children. He loves then like absolute crazy, and boy let me tell you, they love and adore him something fierce. He is one of my husband’s (Cody) closest friends, and is like family to us.

Just as his life was looking up after several years of stress and trials, and meeting the love of his life, Kimberly, things took a turn that left us all floored.

Two weeks ago, he was feeling dizzy. He was having trouble with memory. He was having headaches. Thank God he went to the hospital, and that’s when his new journey begun.

On Friday, May 12, doctors found a large tumor on the back of his brain. He was immediately taken my ambulance to Stanford. They expected surgery right away, but it didn’t happen until Wed, May 17.

As Kimberly and his two children, and about a hundred friends and family anxiously waited, a surgery that would typically take 3-4 hours, took 9 agonizing hours without update.

Toby’s brain tumor was cancer.

If that wasn’t enough to rock all of our worlds, his spirit, his smile, his belief in Jesus poured out of him like nothing had happened.

But something major did, and it’s time to let Toby see how much our tribe loves and cares for him and his children, and the woman who has cared for him and the kids night and day (and I mean that - she’s a warrior, and she handles it ALL with kindness and grace).

He will not be able to return to work anytime soon. He will not be able to provide for his children and keep food on the table and the bills from stacking up. Unless WE step up.

The incredible news is that the doctors believe they got it all, but he will still be going through chemotherapy, and he has a long road to recovery as you can imagine, having had his brain operated on.

Please pray for this incredible man of God.

But, please help us accomplish this goal of $18,000 or more! We know with all who know him and love him, there isn’t a goal too high. Together we can assist in another miracle, and let him walk these next few months without worry of how he will pay the bills.

Anything is appreciated, and the need is now.

Please consider a financial donation along with your prayers and support. He would do whatever he could for any one of you, because THAT is the kind of man he is.
