Help for Turtle Hill Events

Turtle Hill Events is the event company I inherited from my late husband, George Marvil. We specialize in what I call Venn Diagram events, the overlap between two interests. For example, we put on a magical Beltane event each May which celebrates the overlap between spirituality and love. And in August we produce a geeky event called Dungeons + Geekdoms. 

This year has been devastating in so many ways, so much so that I hesitate to ask for help. So many people are struggling, especially in the events business. Many of my fellow event producers have lost all of their events this year, myself included. It is looking likely that THE will not be able to host a single event this year. Let's be clear: Pretty much no one gets rich in my business. But the small amount of income from our events helps us make our lives work so we have time to produce the events you care about. 

This fundraiser will help me and mine get through this year and be in a position to host events again next year. My hope is that I can raise this much before the beginning of August when a very large bill comes due for me that was supposed to be paid by the event income. 

It's hard for me to ask for financial help. I've always been proud to be self-sufficient and responsible. I'd be so grateful if the community would help me and THE get through this rough time. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
