Ukrainian update
A few people have asked if we are continuing with our cause for Ukraine and the answer is yes. 100% we are.
We are in process of sending over money for some gas canisters for the teams at the border to cook food and provide some heating. We have also paid for some gravel to make it safe as the ground there is very dangerous and people are falling in the mud and getting injured. It is extremely dangerous. Our contacts in Poland know to come to us here if they need things and we will do our best to help. This week we were able to help a lovely lady and her son get safely by plane to Helsinki and would love to be able to help like this more. Please continue if you can to give even small amounts are much appreciated. These two last things requested today equate to around £600 which will take the pot to almost nothing. Thank you so much in advance this is really close to our hearts and having met such brave people last week we really want to continue to help wherever we can. We hope to go over again when we can and will keep you updated of course with that. Thank you all so much

Hello my name is Emma. I am just an everyday human being that has with many others been deeply affected this week by the scenes we are seeing from Ukraine.

Hello my name is Emma. I am just an everyday human being that has with many others been deeply affected this week by the scenes we are seeing from Ukraine.
I feel such sadness watching these poor poor innocent people desperately having to leave their country. I feel like I am watching something from the 1930’s that we have clearly not moved on from.
My husband is Polish and his home and family are very near to the Ukrainian borders. His local home towns & city have many rescue centres set up with hundreds of sad desperate people in them. Seeing these images this morning has broken my heart. They are desperate for items for the children and their mothers. Food clothing shoes etc. Some young children have come without shoes there escape was so fast
My husband and I are going in March and would love to be able to deliver much needed items and money that we will go and buy once we are there.
I would like you to know that I am a trusted person I am a nurse and your kind donations will be safe and well looked after. And I will share pictures after we have been. Many many thanks in advance.
