Help for Urh Bauman & Larisal

Dear friends, acquaintances, and everyone else who have heard of the tragedy of Urh Bauman in recent days.

The situation is so difficult that I can't even find a word where to start. Maybe with Urh and his family, who bought Larisal 6 years ago, a magical horse we all knew. Let’s put aside all the years of work, tears of happiness and sleepless nights, trainings, and everything else that Urh and his family were a part of. We were just people watching this from the sidelines, but with pride because our little country became so recognizable in equestrian sports because of this amazing couple. The couple was so successful, that lately, I have been saying at every post and every win: my god, this is impossible, 1st place again!

The tragedy that happened on Friday affected me indescribably, but nothing compared to the moment when Urh explained the situation to me.

Dear friends, imagine being involved in a serious car accident, where fortunately you managed to escape from a wrecked vehicle without serious injury, where you find your best friend, sports partner, all dreams and hopes dead in an instant.

That’s not all, can you imagine running after another horse on the highway that was thrown out of a vehicle during a collision, where you end up witnessing an accident where a horse and the driver of a car lose their lives in a collision with a car?

And even that's not all ... that the tragedy could be bigger, at the end of the day your father is in prison in France.

From this situation, dear friends, Urh can't come out alone. It's probably not even possible.

Let me list just a few of the costs associated with this accident:

• Transport of things and surviving horse Toto back home to Slovenia

• Costs of treatment of a horse Toto in France and temporary accommodation until departure home

• Costs of the detained father in France, after the time of release renting an apartment (unauthorized leaving the country)

• The cost of a lawyer and a translator in France

• Vehicle and trailer scrap recycling payments

• Consequently the purchase of a new vehicle for transport

• Replacement of destroyed equipment in an accident

In addition, all current monthly expenses at home, without the main source of income: Larisal.

In the end, however, the biggest problem here is: our soul and our heart. Urh and Tina are good-hearted people who cannot live without horses and consequently this beautiful sport. Can we, great open-hearted horsemen, be so good to help them, each at least something according to his abilities?

At least and most important - to cover the cost of the accident and in case we collect enough, enable the purchase of a new horse for Tina and Urh?

Let’s help Urh and Tina, to the best of our ability, with financial help and at least one worry less. Let’s put ourselves in their shoes for a moment and let's help during this incredible pain that we can hardly imagine.

Maybe one day we will all be proud because we are part of the story where we will watch Urh again at the highest world competitions.

Let’s stand together, help each other, this is the time for Urh, Tina, Ulla, Larisal, and Urh’s father!
