Dr. Walter and Deede Fletcher
Very few people have had an impact on my life (and very likely yours) like Dr. Walter & Dede Fletcher. Over the decades, they have ministered to hundreds of thousands around the world, planted churches, counseled marriages, and opened their doors to help those in need. They’ve never turned away from someone in need.
Today, they need us.
Last week Dr. Fletcher was diagnosed with severe COVID-19, and this week Deede was diagnosed. Dr. Fletcher was admitted to Parkland Hospital last weekend, and is fighting to regain strength. His prognosis is good, but recovery will be a little longer. Deede is recovering at home, and we are all praying for the best outcome - total healing.
Because we can’t hug them and encourage them in person, we want to show them how much we appreciate and care for them.
The cost of Dr. Fletcher’s care will be extensive, as he has had to be admitted through the ER and will likely be there for a week. This has also forced them to stop their work and livelihood.
We are raising these funds to help offset the extensive medical bills and income loss. Of course, they would never ask for help, but I think we should ALL show them how much they mean to us right now. They have given their lives in service to people, and I want them to know that we’re not only praying and believing in their full recovery, but that we care and we are there for them when they need it most.
