Help for Wayne McAdoo’s expenses

As many of you know , my dad Wayne has had a long history of heart disease and problems. He is diagnosed with PMH including atrial fibrillation, dilated cardiomyopathy, Congested heart Failure, Hypertension, and Ventricular tachycardia with ICD.

In 2005 at the young age of 47 was when he began to have heart problems. At that time his heart was only working at 25% .

In 2010 he was hospitalized and underwent successful cardio version of the heart .

I’m November of 2013 he suffered at home Cardiac Arrest. My mom and myself performed CPR until first responders arrived . After many attempts and long CPR the amazing , wonderful , caring Hampton / Randolph first responders were able to get Wayne’s heart beating again. Who we are so thankful for . He was then intubated and transferred by ambulance to Rochester. His down time was approximately 15 minutes .

Since then he has had several episodes of VT and many ER trips and hospital stays and surgeries. He had a pacemaker and defibrillator in planted . With a long standing background of cardiomyopathy.

Even after all that Wayne never let anything slow him down . He loves to hunt , fish and go up to Mille Lacs . He loves spending time with his wife and taking her to dinner for date nights . His wife , kids and grand kids are his whole world . He is very involved with all of his grandkids and loves teaching them new things and hanging out with them . Wayne is probably one of the kindest , loving , funniest person I know with a really big heart who is always willing to help anyone out and be there for everyone with out ever expecting anything in return . He genuinely loves helping people in any way he can .

Recently the last few months Wayne’s heart is becoming weaker and the long years of medication have taken a dangerous toll on his organs .

The past few months he has been in and out the Emergency Room for having defibrillator shocks .

The doctors have decided it was time for a more serious surgery. He is currently recovering from VT ablation surgery

Wayne has a very long road of recovery ahead of him and many more appointments in Rochester .

All of this has taken a huge financial toll on Wayne and Carolyn the last few months from uninsured ambulance ride, uninsured medical expenses, constant trips back and forth from Rochester , hotel stays in Rochester , food and meals etc .

I am raising money to help my

mom and dad over come this financial burden and help them focus on Dad’s recovery ♥️
