Help for Whitney and Crosby Little

Our beloved friend Whitney Little needs our help right now.  She married her loving husband Mark in 2013.  Instead of simply enjoying the newlywed phase, Mark and Whitney were thrown into tragedy in 2014 when Mark had a stroke causing a brain aneurysm.  He almost lost his life, but God had other plans. The stroke caused much damage, but he worked hard through PT, OT, and countless hospital and doctor visits to get well. He had to start over in many ways. They worked as a team toward his recovery, and it brought them closer. The doctors assured them that the odds of this ever happening again were slim to none.  Slowly, Mark and Whitney began to rebuild their lives. Both always dreamed of being parents and after years of prayer, in 2018, they welcomed their miracle baby boy, Crosby. He became the light of their lives. 

On Saturday, December 19, 2020 Whitney and Mark were thrown into tragedy again.  In his sleep that night, Mark had a second massive stroke. What the doctors said would probably never happen again did happen. He was taken by ambulance to Grandview Medical Center and then flown to St. Luke’s Bethlehem. After many scans, doctors told Whitney the tragic news.  He had fought so hard the first time this happened, but this time there was too much damage to his brain. Mark passed away on Christmas Eve. 

This tragedy did not only rob Whitney of her husband and Crosby his father, but it also robbed them financially. Due to Covid-19 Whitney has been laid off since March. Mark had been solely providing for the family through his job. Daunting medical bills, funeral costs, and other expenses should be the last thing she has to worry about right now. Whitney, who is always going out of her way to help others, could use our help now. Please donate and share this with others.  

When speaking to her, Whitney’s request has consistently been this: Pray. Pray for her as she navigates the next few days and weeks, and pray for the whole family as they grapple with the loss of their beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
