Help for Yaroslavna and Son

My name is Natallia Mitchell and on 8/20/2020 my best friend Yaroslavna Varanovich’s husband, Sergey, was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in Philadelphia, PA. They have a young son together and have only been in the United States for two and a half years escaping Alexander Lukashenko’s dictatorship regime in Belarus as political asylees, Coming from Grodno.  As such, their lives have been not so easy recently, work has been hard to find as immigrants and with the pandemic but despite this, they have both been working full time to support their family. The sudden loss of a breadwinner in their family puts Yaroslavna and her eight-year-old son’s stability and security at great risk. She has no family in the United States and nobody to help support her and her son. I am hoping to raise money to lessen their burden of rent, bills, Lawyer’s fees, and final expenses for Sergey. Any help will make the biggest difference and be so very much appreciated in this trying time.

At the request of GoFundMe for complete transparency, I and my Husband Broc Mitchell will be managing the funds on behalf of Yaroslavna and with her permission. We are with her in Philadelphia and are currently exploring funeral and interment expenses, expected to be in the neighborhood of $10,000. We will pay for these expenses out of pocket in advance and provide all additional funds directly to Yaroslavna to supplement the loss of Sergey’s income.
