Help needed to fund funeral arrangements

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Police are investigating the deaths of two people at a Springfield apartment complex.

Around 4 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of North Clifton at the John B. Hughes Apartment Complex. A caller asked for a well-being check at the apartment. They found two adults dead inside it.

Police say that 21-year-old Andrew Calton shot and killed 21-year-old Katrina Dotson. He then shot and killed himself. Both were from Springfield. Police also say there were juveniles inside the apartment at the time of the deaths, but they were not hurt.

The investigation is ongoing.
