Help Fran & Bobby recover from the Eaton Fire

Along with so many others, my wonderful mother and father-in-law, Fran and Bobby, tragically lost their sweet Altadena home in the Eaton Fire. With no advance notice, they had to evacuate immediately with no time to pack essentials, family photos, or anything but the clothes they were wearing.

Anyone who has seen Fran being interviewed can see her love and dedication to her neighbors & community shine through despite her own loss and my father-in-law’s cancer journey. We’ve been so touched by the strangers and friends who have reached out with love, support, and offers to help. Thank you to The Wrap and Brian Entin for letting her share her story in such a beautiful way.

My in-laws are the heart of our family, hosting nearly every holiday for their entire lives. They warmly open their doors to anyone and make sure they leave very well fed with the most wonderful homestyle Italian food. It makes me laugh how many countless times over the years, I’ve walked into family celebrations and have had to introduce myself to people I’d never met before. It’s very fitting that the only thing to survive the fire were Fran’s heavy cast iron pots that she’d use to cook for everyone.

We’re so grateful for this opportunity to help Fran & Bobby (Gigi & Papi to their grandchildren). Sending endless love to everyone in Altadena and all of LA during this unimaginable time.
