HELP Francesca for her spine surgery!

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read Francesca’s story (organizers Jerome & Mitzy Morales, friend to Pamela Verna Cariño, mom to Francesca).

 

 

Francesca Samantha Cariño is a beloved daughter to Pamela and Samuel, sister to Brian Paolo, Samuel Adrian and Bruce Denver. A young, hardworking, family-oriented daughter who puts her family first. Francesca is the kind of girl who always has a smile on her face. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, never thinking twice about it and never expecting anything in return. Anyone who knows Francesca, can unequivocally say that she has a heart of gold – she’d do anything for her loved ones, her family, and friends. Unfortunately, Francesca has been struggling with back problems for many years and recently, their lives were turned upside down.

 

Diagnosis: Thoracolumbar Scoliosis (Double Major Curve)

 

Plan: Posterior Instrumented Fusion Scoliosis Surgery

 

Francesca lives in the Philippines where medical insurance is not widely used nor afforded by many. Due to the curvature of her spine her doctor advised for a very soon surgical intervention. The overall expense of the surgery is 1,500,000.00 Philippine Peso. ($30,000 USD). Francesca will undergo spine surgery on December 5, 2021 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City, Philippines. We hope she can be back home just in time for Christmas.
