Help Francis recover from missed work

I’m a staff member at a famous local venue that ruptured their eardrum at a concert and is looking for support while their workers comp has yet to come in. My workers comp was actually denied this weekend because they claim that work could not have caused the injuries I received, but common sense tells us that I couldn’t have possibly ruptured my eardrum unless I was in my workplace, actively listening to the noise that created a perforation.

I missed an entire paycheck because I wasn’t allowed to go to work or use my PTO because workers comp was supposed to pay me, according to my boss, but never did.

We’re currently overdrafted almost $700 because of rent and car insurance. I am on SNAP, MA, and spend no money except on what I absolutely have to.

I truly appreciate any and all help. I love working with music and serving people who love music. I’ve been at this venue since 2021 and have gotten puked on, drinks thrown on me, physically threatened, sexually harassed, and I still love my job. It is just a major shame that my girlfriend and I are stuck in this situation because of an injury that I couldn’t prevent.
