Help Frank Get Back His Qualify Of Life

Hello, my name is Caitlain. I am 22 years old. I am starting this fundraiser for my dog, Frank. He is a 3 year old, French bulldog.
Over the last couple of months, Frank has been struggling on and off with a condition known as IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). He had his first flare up in October 2022. Over the last couple of days, he’s had a flare up, which is causing him extreme pain. I have taken him to the vets this afternoon and they have told me for a second time, that he needs a surgery, to remove the diseased intervertebral disc. Frank is only 3 years old. The cost of this surgery is £6,000, that is the surgery alone, taking out of account medications, consultations, and rehabilitation - without it, he’ll loose ability to walk, function and eventually use his bowel functions, this will then result in him having to be put to sleep. I am absolutely devastated to say the least. I didn’t think it would progress this fast. I spent my savings the last time and this time on medications and consultations. He is my bestest friend in the whole entire world and without him I’d be absolutely nothing. I dont know what to do or how I’m going to be able to raise this money fast enough than it will/could progress. This is why I am pleading for your help, I have never asked anyone for anything, let alone complete strangers but I love him so much, I cannot loose my baby. He was insured but due to the cost of living crisis I stupidly cancelled his insurance(naively because he was never poorly), meaning to reinstate it when I could, ultimately I’d forgot and it then became a pre-existing illness which wouldn’t now be covered. I feel so sad about this. I would walk to the ends of the earth for him.
As of now, he is comfortable as can be, with pain medication prescribed by the vet. He’s due to go back in a weeks time and I can then give a final answer about his surgery, he so desperately needs.
When the surgery is done when it’s in early stages (which franks currently is) it has a 90% success rate. After this, when it progresses, the statistics drop and it becomes less likely to work, which is why I need to act quickly.
I thank you so much for reading and considering this. If you can donate anything, from a £0.01p - £100, every single penny counts, even a share would help. Thank you once again, for listening to our story.
All our love,
Caitlain & Frank, the Frenchie.
