Help Frank Hernandez Recovery from Covid-19

I am asking for your support for a long time friend of the Ahwatukee community. Frank Hernandez of Select Painting has been an owner/contractor of the Ahwatukee Board of Management as well as several sub-associations for over 18 years. Frank has provided unbelievably competitive pricing, saving thousands of dollars to those who benefitted from his services. Frank has also worked for many homeowners in our community providing the same competitive pricing and excellent quality work for exterior/interior home painting.
Frank has been a vital sponsor of the Ahwatukee Community Swim and Tennis Center providing financial assistance for Community Center Events held every year. Frank has a true love for Ahwatukee and has always shown his dedicated support in any way he can.
Frank has fallen on very difficult times. He contacted Covid over a month ago. Frank always wore a mask and took every necessary precaution in trying to avoid getting the virus. As a result of getting Covid, Frank experienced blood clots in his lungs and brain causing extensive time in ICU in the hospital. He has just been released to a rehab facility where he is looking at many months of treatment before he can return to work again.
Frank is a one man show. He manages his business alone from the bidding through the invoicing and painting. His ability to earn an income has been severely crippled. As a man, Frank has been a single dad raising his three daughters and a grandson solely on this own with no assistance. During economic ups and downs he has always made his family a priority. Frank is a man of deep faith who has supported me through the loss of my wife and youngest son. His support of not only his own family but many, many more people like myself speaks volume for the kind of man he is.
I commend the Ahwatukee Board of Management staff and several contractors for stepping up to help Frank during this time by providing his family with food, necessary household items, financial and personal support. However, Frank is going to need financial support in paying bills and medical costs over the next several months. I am asking the Ahwatukee community to please help us help Frank.
I realize that times are tough for everyone. I am asking that you please find it in your heart to help Frank and his girls in any way you can. A Go-Fund-Me account has been set up as listed below for any assistance you can provide, no matter how small.
God bless Frank and his girls, the ABM staff and contractors and all of you, our wonderful Ahwatukee community. We are also reaching out to our fellow Dunn Edwards painting community for their support. Together, we can all make a huge impact in helping Frank and his family through this difficult time.
