Help Franny's Farm Rise from Hurricane Helene

We are reaching out to you during one of the most challenging times in our lives. As many of you know, our small business and farm in the heart of beautiful Western North Carolina has been a source of relief and wellness for countless individuals in our community. However, following the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene and the catastrophic flooding that ensued, we find ourselves in urgent need of your support to rebuild and continue our mission of providing essential relief to those in need.

Hurricane Helene was a force to be reckoned with. The heavy rains and relentless winds caused severe flooding in our area, damaging our facilities and inventory beyond repair. The heart-wrenching scenes of destruction were not just limited to our business and land; many of our neighbors have lost their homes and livelihoods. In the aftermath of the storm, we have witnessed the strength and resilience of our community, but we also recognize the overwhelming challenges that lie ahead.

Our products and wellness services have provided comfort to individuals all across the country. We’ve built our business on the foundation of trust, transparency, and a deep commitment to our customers. Now, we are determined to rise from the ashes of this disaster and continue offering the support our community desperately needs.

Franny Tacy, the founder of Franny's Farmacy and Franny's Farm, has been a pillar of the Asheville community for her entire life. The farm has served as a host for countless community-led events and initiatives that have always supported the arts along with local businesses.

Currently, about 60 people are taking shelter on the farm and are in desperate need of help and assistance. Supplies in the community are running dangerously low, and we are raising money to be able to help bring in supplies and support the ongoing operations of the farm so that they may be able to continue to support the families that have taken refuge there and get them the necessary supplies to get them back on their feet and be able to, in turn, support the rest of the community.

Franny has always been the first to help the community and it would be amazing to help this incredible woman rally so that she can continue to support the community the way she has her entire life.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be used to:

1. Rebuild Our Facilities: We need to repair and restore our business premises and farm to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and employees.

2. Replace Inventory: Our products, which are vital for the wellness of many, were lost in the flooding. We aim to restock our shelves with high-quality products that our community relies on.

3. Support Local Relief Efforts: We are committed to giving back. A portion of the funds will be allocated to local relief efforts for those in our community.

4. Reinstate Jobs: Our employees are the backbone of our business. Your support will help us bring back our dedicated team members who are now facing uncertainty.
