Help Faryal Resume Her Studies and a Peaceful Life

Hello, everybody.

I am a scientist living in the United States, organizing this fundraiser for Faryal, a young woman and student whose college education has been interrupted by the horrible violence in Gaza. Like most civilians in Gaza, she has not known a moment of comfort in several months. Despite the horrors she encounters daily, Faryal is determined to survive and continue her education. She first needs to leave Gaza, as there is no future in sight if she stays. Once she is safely evacuated, she desires to complete her undergraduate degree in business administration at a European university. Faryal and I have facetimed from her tent in Al-Zawaida and have made a plan together to fundraise. All proceeds from this page will be transferred directly to her family PayPal account to support her survival and continued education as she starts over in a new country. This is an approximate breakdown of her current goal: medicine for a health condition that causes her to faint frequently ($1,000); travel ($5000 to cross into Egypt and $2000 for travel to Europe), housing ($4000), and tuition at a university ($8000 for one year), fees for international transfer, currency conversion, and GoFundMe processing ($1000).

Hello everyone, salam aleykoum. I'm Faryal. I was displaced from Gaza to Khan Yunis, then to Rafah, then to Al-Zawaida. I'm still alive in this painful war, and I want to help you.

I was studying at Al-Quds Open University, majoring in Arabic language. I had two years to graduate, and I was very excited to see my future after graduation. I was studying and working at the same time to save money for myself and my sick mother's medicines. I had some students that I taught in a small room in our house. My life was very beautiful I am a very active and ambitious person.

I had dreams that I wanted to achieve and a future that I wanted to create for myself and support my family... but unfortunately the occupation had another opinion, which was to destroy my university, my home, and my future dreams. And my small room, which was a source of livelihood for me and my humble family, and now I have nothing left. I live in a tent with no shelter, no life, no dreams, and no future. All we think about is how to provide drinking water, food, and washing clothes... and is this area safe? When do we have to evacuate? That's all we think about. My only dream was to survive the war, provide medicine for my sick mother, complete my university studies, and build my future abroad.

My health is very weak due to the lack of healthy food, and I eat a lot of harmful canned food due to the lack of money to buy basic needs.

I always feel faint Lack of healthy food and constant going to the hospital, and due to medical negligence, there was no bed for me to rest on, and I slept in the street.

We are suffering from bacterial diseases because of the camp in which we live, which has sewage.

I lost 8 months of my life, and we are still experiencing the same suffering. We are suffering a lot inside the tent, and my hair is full of gray, as if I was 70 years old. I am working hard to rebuild my shattered life. I am very grateful to you for any support you can provide.

I want money to spend on myself, including medicines, travel tickets and completing my university studies. I'll be a stranger abroad? I don't know anyone... and the money will help me in my personal and university affairs.
