Help Fred get a replacement truck

The friends of Fred from Y-Dock in the Shoreline Marina, in Long Beach, would like to help Fred get a replacement truck. His 1996 Ford Ranger has come to the end of its life, and can not be repaired at a reasonable cost.

Fred is a great friend and watches over the boats on Y-dock. We fondly call him the Mayor of Y-Dock. He welcomes everyone who comes to the dock; boat owners as well as guests with a hearty hello and a great smile. He walks the dock to make sure our boats are safe and secure during stormy weather. He has helped many boat owners repair their engines or lend tools to complete their jobs. Fred is on a limited Social Security income and can not afford to have a car payment. Presently, Fred is riding his bike to run his daily errands, which is difficult for him since he has rheumatoid arthritis in his feet. We are asking for your help to get him back on the streets in a replacement ride, and greatly appreciate anyone who donates to Fred's cause. Thank you in advance for your kind donation.
