Hi everyone, this is Darren and Sarah, colleagues of Marc Sexton at IS.

 

Just a few months ago Fredelyn and Marc welcomed the birth of their beautiful daughter Isabella. Shortly after what should have been a magical time for their family, Fredelyn was beset with serious complications and their world started to crumble.

 

Those fortunate to know Freddy know how vibrant and active she is, an outstanding athlete and an ultra marathon champion, so her stage IV diagnosis of a rare and very aggressive cervical cancer was devastating. Those who know Marc will know that he fights challenges face on and side by side they have spent the past few months doing exactly that.

 

The sudden way Freddy’s condition came to light and the extreme urgency of treatments and therapies, meant there has been no opportunity to transfer into the public health system and it is unlikely that the necessary care could be provided.

 

To this point the treatment has not been successful and the next steps are still being devised by Freddy’s medical team. They are at the point however where health insurance and employer assistance is almost exhausted and bills are mounting quickly. Your financial support is urgently needed to continue the fight.
