Help Frederick "Rico" Allen Honor His Mother, Naomi Villa

It's always with sadness to start any posts with a loss, yet a wonderful light has gone out and left many behind with a hole in their hearts that will never heal on 04 September, 2024. I'm reaching out on behalf of a son, a brother, an uncle, and a loyal and always kind friend to help raise funds after suddenly and unexpectedly losing his mother, Naomi Michelle Villa, gone too soon at the age of 45. She was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico, and is survived by her two sons and two grandchildren. Please help us help their family with afterlife care and the responsibilities and obligations that follow, during this time of mourning.

Frederick "Rico" Allen is her oldest son and the one who has been responsible for her care as her health declined. We've grown to know him as someone who truly inherited his mother's kind and giving spirit, who has always loyally stuck by his friends and family and gives the shirt off his back to help others. Now it's our turn to support our friend through one of the hardest times of his life.

Naomi did not know what was coming and was still young; even just days prior, she was spry and optimistic about the future and had such high hopes for what life had in store for everyone around her. Her sons and family have no means for her cremation, funds to pay her apartment's rent to extend time to handle her belongings beyond another two weeks, or even for a modest wake or a celebration of life if one is so desired by those left behind. We're hoping to raise funds towards these expenses to take one more thing off their plates.

Rico spoke so highly of his mother and loved her so very much, as did everyone in her life. She was always the life of the party and had a contagious, warm laugh that brought smiles to others around her, and her creative endeavors as a writer and gift with stories were well known to those around her.

Even if it's only a little, we want to take some of the stress of the situation from our dear friend's shoulders and give as much as possible toward honoring the memory of someone wonderful who has raised our friend who we love with everything she had to give. Any generosity, of friend or family or kind strangers, will be so greatly appreciated and treasured toward giving Naomi's family and friends some peace and beauty in her passing.

We want Rico and his family to know that the world has not abandoned them; there is kindness and support all around, and even just a kind word of support and sharing this fundraiser's link will mean everything to them right now if donations aren't possible for whoever may be reading.
