Plea for AmorRah

AmorRah Bosley-Howard was unlawfully arrested on Saturday, October 5th 2024. She is currently imprisoned.

Please help us raise funds for her speedy release and for her reunion with her dog.

About AmorRah:
She is an extremely kind person. When she has little to give, she is still giving to those in need. She works with charity groups often. She is an intellectual, a good mother, a loyal friend, a constant blessing to all who have the pleasure to know her. She is the epitome of a person anyone should aspire to be, but only some of us become.

The circumstances of her unlawful arrest and current detainment include:
- “FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH A POLICE OFFICER” - (Because she did not immediately provide her identity, which is not required by federal or Alabama state law. Her identity was provided by herself to the arresting officer, however the jail claims her social security number was not provided, which is a lie on the jail’s and/or the officer(s)’s part.)

- Her next scheduled court date is November 6th, 2024. She would have been detained for 1 month at that point and is not guaranteed release. Far too long.

- AmorRah’s dog, Broski, is in custody of a friend temporarily and the dog would be likely put down if taken in by the state. The friend cannot care for the dog any longer. AmorRah wants to save her dog's life and be reunited with him. He has some ailments that need treating and he also needs food. He does not have a place to stay indoors currently, but he is an indoor dog and used to being inside with AmorRah.

- AmorRah does not want to be in jail, nor does she live a life of crime. This is a burden on her, her dog, and her friends. It is gross misconduct of the law.

- The Mobile County Metro Jail, where she is currently detained, is overcrowded and poorly managed.

- Her bail bond is posted at $500 by the jail, but between $650 and $700 is requested of local bonding agencies. There are inmates in the same jail charged with Fentanyl Trafficking, whom have bail posted at only $1,000.
