Bonjour everyone,
I am Sylvie Bello, a DC based activist with the Cameroon American Council.
We are seeking your urgent help to fund release actions for asylum seekers
our Cameroonians across Louisiana's detention and specifically those 40 Cameroonians detained at Prairie Praire in Louisiana.
On Juneteenth 2020, a group of 40 Cameroonian detainees protested the racist mishandling of their asylum cases and the inhuman conditions at Pine Prairie ICE Immigration Detention Center.
Join us and please help us fund advocacy, which includes "Week of Escalation: Virtual and In-Person Advocacy For Cameroonians Detained in Louisiana", (originally) slated for August 24th to August 29th 2020.
