Help Freya Get Her Lifesaving Surgery
Donation protected
Hey everyone, we're in a bit of a tough spot... Our sweet little Freya, she's our 7-month-old Border Collie, is at the vet right now. Turns out, she swallowed something she shouldn't have, and, well, she needs surgery – like, ASAP. It's a bowel obstruction, and the vet's saying it's gonna be about $3600.
You know Freya, she's just the cutest. Smart as a whip, loves playing with her brother Dude (our Golden Retriever), and honestly, she's the biggest cuddle bug. Especially if you give her belly rubs! My youngest, Clancy, he's just heartbroken. Keeps asking me to promise Freya's gonna be okay. And her sister Billie, she's just so confused, you know? They've been together since my wife found them, abandoned, outside this little general store in Flournoy. Long story, but we couldn't leave them.
It's been a rough 24 hours. We authorized the surgery, of course, but that's gonna pretty much wipe out our savings. With two kids and everything getting more expensive, it's... scary. Honestly. We're just hoping, praying, we can get her through this. The vets are optimistic, saying she's got a good chance, but we won't know for sure till after.
Any little bit helps, truly. Even just sharing this, it means the world. We just want our playful, happy Freya back home. We'll keep you updated, promise! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for anything you can do.
