Help FTC 9974 T.H.O.R. Get to Worlds!

Hello, we are team First Tech Challenge team #9974 T.H.O.R. from Johnston, Iowa.

In early March, we achieved our season-long goal of qualifying for the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas. We did this by not only repeating as the Iowa Winning Alliance Captain, but also winning the Inspire Award at the state level for the first time in our team's 9-year history. In FTC Iowa's 15-year history, no team had previously ever been both the Inspire Award Winner and the Winning Alliance Captain at the state level in the same season - a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our 8 members over the course of this season.

As a top-20 team (as voted on by members of the FTC community) out of over 7,000 teams worldwide, we expect to strongly represent Iowa by making it into the elimination matches (top 48 teams), and hope to be in contention to be the first FTC team from Iowa to be on the Worlds Winning Alliance. Additionally, at the World Championship, our members will have the opportunity to connect with teams from over 40 countries, and meet with businesses, colleges, and universities from all across the globe.

However, we cannot achieve this task without your help. As a community-based team, we receive no funding or support from schools - all of our funding comes as a result of our members' hard work and fundraising efforts. By donating to our cause, you are not only helping us with travel and lodging costs, but also helping bring recognition to robotics in Iowa.
